Field/relationship type wrong due to mouse released in wrong field in 2nd table.
Cause:
When dragging and dropping the field from the first to second table, the mouse button was released over the wrong field in the second related table. For a One-to-Many relationship, the primary field must be dropped onto a field with the same type of information.
Solution:
Change the field to the correct field in the 'Relationships' dialog box.
Do the following in the Relationships window:
NOTE: To open the Relationships window, select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Relationships'.

1) If the relationship has not yet been defined and/or if the 'Relationships' dialog box is not displayed:
a) Select the field in the first table.
b) Drag the field from the first table on top of the field from the second table.
c) Release the mouse button. (The Relationships dialog box appears.)
2) Click in the column representing the first table.
3) Click arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
4) Select the correct field for the first table from the drop-down list.
5) Click in the column representing the second table.
6) Click arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
7) Select the correct field for the second table from the drop-down list.
8) Click 'OK'. (The Relationships dialog box closes, and the Relationships window reappears.)

9) (Optional) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save' to save the new layout.
10) When finished, select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the Relationships window
